Walk through this crowded pedestrian street to see the epicenter of Japanese teen culture. Cheap, funky boutiques line the street, with the occasional all-you-can-eat restaurant thrown in. Enjoy the people-watching, but walk with a purpose if you don’t want to be stopped by someone trying to get you to check out their store or club. Come on a weekend afternoon if you can, you’ll have a chance to check out some of the more interestingly acceptable (in Japanese society) facets of Tokyo’s counter-culture.
