La Forêt is, in the words of one blogger, "a mall for people who have taste." Apparently she is one of the many loyal customers here. Located on the corner of Jingumae and Omotesando-dori, there are over 150 stores selling everything from expensive brand-name goods (like Helmut Lang) to more casual Harajuku wear. The huge department store style mecca is more mature and upscale than 109 in Shibuya but nestled in the center of teenage fashion culture in Harajuku. It has more in common with the rest of upscale Omotesando and chic-y boutiquey Minami Aoyama a few steps away.
