gonpachi
Straight out of a scene in Kill Bill, this feudal-era castle is an popular izakaya that focuses on homemade soba and ‘kushi-yaki’, meat-on-sticks. It’s close to Roppongi, so expect a lot of gaijin foreigners here, but at least that means the menu and staff speak Eigo. Anyone that comes to Tokyo will visit and love this place.
